Exotic Weed Abatement
Our crews are experienced in chemical, manual and mechanical methods of weed removal and control. Our staff includes licensed Pest Control Advisors, Qualified Applicators, and operators. All have experience in eradicating Arundo donax (giant reed), cortaderia sp. (pampas grass), cynara cardunculus (artichoke thistle), eichhornia crassipes (water hyacinth), ehrharta sp. (veldt grasses), lepidium latifolium (pepper weed), ricinus communis (castor bean), tamarix sp. (tamarisk), as well as many other species of exotic invaders. Our concern for protecting the existing native species while eradicating the invasive pests makes us unique among pest control companies. < Back
Seed Imprinting
One of the first companies to offer imprinting as a low cost alternative to hydroseeding we still are at the forefront of imprinting innovation. We have designed, and supervised the manufacture of, our imprinters, including the truly unique slope imprinter. We offer reliable seed application in areas that hydroseed trucks cannot access, where water is not available, and very large acreage where it is more economically feasible. < Back
Trapping Arrays
Our crews have installed trapping arrays for biological surveys in remote locations throughout the west.. We have installed and removed linear arrays, T-arrays and Y-arrays with several different types of traps, for several different species. We install trapping arrays based on the biologists design and target species. < Back
Straw Blowing
We offer strawblowing services as a relatively low cost erosion control measure. Applying straw is a quick and efficient short term erosion control measure. Our staff can recommend application rates and which variety of straw is most appropriate for your site. We own and operate our strawblowers and equipment. < Back
Irrigation Design & Install
Our staff offers design and installation of irrigation systems for restoration projects. Our understanding of system capabilities and the true water needs of native plant communities makes us unique in the restoration industry. We have designed and installed innovative irrigation systems utilizing gravity flow, electric pumps, solar pumps, and gasoline driven pumps on projects from one to over one hundred acres. < Back
Pesticide Spraying
Our staff includes licensed Pest Control Advisors, Licensed Qualified Applicators, and Certified Applicators. We are highly experienced in aquatic applications, and have safely and effectively applied herbicides in marsh, riparian and wetland habitats. We own four wheel drive trucks carrying skid mounted spray rigs capable of reaching very remote sites and our crews are experienced in applying herbicides in remote locations. < Back
Aquatic Planting
Understanding the critical part that soil conditions and water levels play in installing an aquatic plant palette, our experts have the knowledge and experience to successfully plant a full range of aquatic plants. Our crews are trained in low-impact harvesting methods utilizing local plant sources. < Back
Plant Salvage
We have transplanted several endangered species as well as species of concern. Successful projects have included moving Brodiaea sp, Mariposa lilies and Nolina and then maintaining them in place. We also have transplanted larger coastal sage scrub species on several projects. Our crews have successfully transplanted thousands of riparian cuttings and cactus pads. < Back
Hydro-seeding
Natures Image owns and operates it’s own large commercial hydroseeder. Hydroseeding can be done according to specifications or we can custom design a mix for your project. The same equipment can be used to apply several types of hydromulch for erosion control and BMP (Best Management Practices) uses. < Back
Critter Fencing
Our crews have literally installed miles of critter fencing, also known as exclusion fencing, designed to keep native species out of harms way on construction sites. Road and pipeline construction projects, among others, require crews capable of responding quickly to remove and install these fences. We have installed fences designed to contain or exclude amphibians, mammals and reptiles. < Back
Site Clearing & Prep
With crews trained to recognize and efficiently work around native plants our clearing crews are unique among land clearing contractors. We are as concerned about preserving native plants as the biologists we work with. Using our heavy to light tractors and hand crews we have cleared hundreds of acres in riparian habitats. < Back
Maintenance

Remote Watering
We offer innovative solutions to watering in areas with little or no local sources of water. Our staff can design a system to use water in the most efficient manner possible, making trucking water into a site a viable alternative. < Back
