An important method in creating the beautiful Spring colors now covering the Southern California landscape is seed imprinting, a process pioneered by Natures Image. In fact, Natures Image is the only contractor in Southern California to have a slope imprinter. Seed imprinting involves the use of angular steel teeth to create V-shaped impressions in the soil surface. The imprinter is drawn by a tractor and, in one pass, can prepare the soil, apply seed and inject amendments such as mycorrhizal fungi into the soil.
